Rite of Passage, operating Canyon State Academy in Queen Creek, AZ, seeks a Paraprofessional to join the Education Department and support instructional services for youth. You will help implement curriculum, assist teachers, manage behavior, and promote a positive learning culture on campus.

The role emphasizes collaboration, relationship-building with students, and the use of educational technology to enhance daily instruction. A flexible schedule and opportunities for growth are available.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience working with youth in a child welfare or agency setting.
• Minimum age of 21.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Related experience working with at-risk youth preferred.
• Valid teaching credential, if required for assigned duties.

Responsabilidades

• Assist teachers and education staff in delivering instructional services and curriculum.
• Support students with diverse learning styles, educational needs, and behavioral challenges.
• Implement effective classroom and behavioral management strategies.
• Build positive relationships with students that encourage academic achievement and personal growth.
• Collaborate with team members to support student success across program areas.
• Use computers and educational technology to support instruction and daily responsibilities.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and accept additional assignments as needed.
• Maintain a flexible schedule based on program needs.
