Job summary

One Family Illinois seeks a dedicated educational support professional to enrich the lives of youth in care across Safe Haven and Sibling Foster Care programs. You will design age-appropriate activities, partner with Foster Parents and school staff, and help connect children with tutoring and educational resources.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Social Work, Education, or related field (or two years’ relevant experience), willingness to travel, flexibility to work evenings/weekends, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Education, or related field, or two years of related experience.
• Foster Care experience, SACWIS user and CWEL preferred.
• Ability to pass DCFS required criminal background check including CANTS/LEADS and SORS.

Responsibilities

• Works with children in Safe Haven and Sibling Foster Care programs to develop age-appropriate programming.
• Collaborates with Foster Parents, Village Program Director, and other staff on client needs and services.
• Builds relationships with local schools and community partners.
• Monitors progress and coordinates educational support such as tutoring.
• Communicates with teachers and school staff to support educational, emotional, and social development.
