Job summary

Wheeler Clinic is seeking a program administrator to oversee the Diversion First initiative across DCF Regions 1 and 2 from our New Haven office. You will manage Youth Diversion Team operations, ensure service delivery, records, supervision, and staff development in a restorative justice framework.

The role requires a Master's degree in juvenile/criminal justice or related field, at least 3 years of program delivery experience with youth and families, plus a valid driver's license and

Qualifications

• Master's degree in juvenile/criminal justice, community planning, social work administration or related field.
• At least 3 years’ experience delivering services to children, adolescents and families.
• Supervisory and program management experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative and programmatic oversight in accordance with model, program, and agency requirements.
• Ensures service delivery, record documentation and record oversight.
• Maintains accountability for program goals and staff compliance with deadlines and standards.
• Ensures staff attend required supervision, rounds, trainings, and meetings.
• Offers feedback to staff and develops corrective action plans with leadership.
• Communicates professionally with service providers, managed care, DCF, CSSD, and partners.
• Leads local and statewide system of care trainings.
• Facilitates performance evaluations and creates career development plans.
