Job summary

Devereux Georgia Grace's Place in Georgia is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide daily care and supervision for youth aged 12–17 in a new program. Starting pay is $20/hr, with increases based on experience.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized service plans and help develop independent living skills. The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years in a relevant field, a valid driver's license, and weekend/on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor's preferred in Mental Health or Social Services.
• Experience: Two years or more in mental health, group home, or related setting with youth.
• Other: Must be 21+, strong communication, and ability to use in-house computer apps.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and supervision per the client individualized service plans.
• Document client progress on shift related to service plan goals.
• Assist in teaching independent living and social skills as designated in plans.
• Collaborate with education staff, therapists, and clinicians on client needs.
• Ensure safety and adherence to program guidelines and policies.
