Job summary

Devereux Georgia is seeking an entry-level Direct Support Professional to assist children and adolescents in a behavioral health setting. The role includes daily living support, emotional and behavior management, health and hygiene, documentation, and contributing to a safe, therapeutic environment.

We offer a two-week paid orientation, opportunities to grow in behavioral health, and a supportive team. Starting pay is $20 per hour, with additional pay for experience, primarily for 2nd shift

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; BA in related field preferred.
• Experience with individuals under 21 with behavioral disorders preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and background check; 21+ yrs old.
• Excellent communication skills; capable with documentation.
• Two-week paid orientation; 8:30am–5:30pm schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily living activities and behavior support.
• Document shift reports and progress notes accurately.
• Mentor and coach individuals to maintain a safe environment.
• Support treatment plans under supervision; participate in activities.
