Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver (BGCMD) is seeking a Youth Development/Enrichment Specialist to plan, supervise, and implement high-yield activities across Athletics, Cultural Arts, Education, STEM, and Teen programs. Role includes coaching intramural sports, promoting creativity, and coordinating academic and leadership initiatives for club members.

The position emphasizes trauma-informed practices, mentorship, and strong club culture across multiple Denver locations.

Qualifications

CPR/First Aid or other certifications required within the organization's timeframe.
Valid driver's license and ability to be insured under the policy.
Experience working with youth and in youth programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Implement engaging, high-quality program offerings aligned with positive youth development and trauma-informed practices.
Build strong relationships with Club members, providing mentorship and guidance.
Attend regular staff meetings and collaborate with teammates to support Club culture and engagement initiatives.
Substitute at other Clubs as needed and participate in district-wide events.
Coordinate logistics for Club events and outreach, and maintain a clean, safe program space.
