Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver is seeking a Float Youth Development Specialist to provide safe, engaging youth programming across multiple Club locations. The role supports various age groups and program areas, operating under the direction of onsite leadership.

The position emphasizes active supervision, trauma-informed practices, and flexible scheduling within the 3:00–7:00 p.m. window at different Club sites. This is a part‑time opportunity based in the Denver metro area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Ability to supervise groups of children or teens in busy, changing environments.
• Ability to build positive relationships with youth and provide guidance.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different Club locations, ages, teams, schedules, and program needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage at assigned Club locations for planned PTO, unexpected absences, vacancies, higher attendance, and other operational needs.
• Report to the assigned Club at the scheduled time and confirm the daily role, supervision area, and priorities with onsite leadership.
• Work with different age groups and program areas based on Club needs and safety standards.
• Learn and follow each Club's daily schedule, supervision zones, check-in/dismissal procedures, and emergency protocols.
• Travel between multiple BGCMD locations as needed and accurately record all work time.
