Job summary

The YMCA of South Hampton Roads is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead high-quality child care programs for ages 5-12. You will supervise daily operations, support staff, and partner with families and community organizations to promote positive outcomes.

Under the Youth Development Director, you will ensure safety, deliver developmentally appropriate activities, and model constructive relationships. This full-time on-site role offers hourly compensation between $16.00 and $18.00.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Meet the VA Director-designee criteria.
• CPR/First Aid within 30 days of hire.
• MAT within 60 days of hire.
• Background checks required.
• Strong communication skills and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities.
• Engage children with meaningful, supportive interactions.
