Job summary

Bgcaz in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Youth Development Specialist to plan, implement, coordinate and supervise programs for youth and/or teens. You will facilitate activities across arts and gym, manage calendars, lesson plans, rosters, and track participation.

Responsibilities include transporting youth, ensuring safety, assisting with the Federal Food program, and maintaining strong member/family relationships with excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Must obtain/maintain current CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler’s Certification within first 90 days of employment.
• Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates programming in various areas of the Club (arts, gym, etc).
• Manages administrative duties to include calendars, lesson plans, pre/post testing, roster keeping and participation tracking.
• Transports youth and/or teens to various club locations via BGCMP vehicles.
• Ensures the safety of all members and ensures proper documentation is completed.
• Assists with Federal Food program as directed.
