Job summary

Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos is seeking a Youth Program Specialist to mentor and engage youth members across sites. This part-time, non-exempt role starts at the Jennifer Loscher Branch and may float to other sites to cover staffing shortages, delivering high-quality programming and maintaining a safe environment.

You will lead activities aligned with Character & Leadership, Education & Career Development, Health & Life Skills, The Arts, and Sports, Fitness & Recreation, reporting to the

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with youth development or Boys & Girls Club preferred.
• Ability to supervise and discipline youth safely.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and engage youth members through activities to build confidence.
• Plan and implement programs at multiple sites, maintaining a positive environment.
• Cover sites with staffing shortages and run high-quality programming.
• Communicate with staff, parents, and affiliates to coordinate activities.
