Job summary

The Boys & Girls Club Of the Northern Plains seeks a Lead Youth Development Professional in Vermillion, SD. This part-time, non-exempt role leads daily youth programming and supervises youth to maintain a safe, engaging Club environment.

You will plan and evaluate activities, support youth development staff, manage behavior, and ensure proper documentation. CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• CPR certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Commitment to working four days a week.
• Ability to work during school year and summer hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, implementation, and evaluation of daily programs and events.
• Supervise youth and provide coaching to staff and volunteers.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization of program spaces.
• Document attendance, incidents, and behavior notes.
• Provide feedback and support to Youth Development Professionals.
