Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Greater Triad is seeking a JCPC Youth Development Professional (YDP) to support the Positive Action program for youth ages 6-17. You will assist in planning, organizing, and implementing program activities in a safe, engaging environment.

The role emphasizes mentorship, youth development, and maintaining program attendance and outcomes with strong teamwork and communication with staff and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; some college coursework preferred.
• At least 1 year of youth-focused experience.
• Strong communication with youth ages 6-17.
• Passion for youth development and behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the Positive Action program with fidelity.
• Track attendance, lesson completion, and progress for reporting.
• Mentor and role model for youth.
• Create a safe, inclusive environment promoting respect and growth.
• Maintain communication with staff, parents, and community partners.
• Support the club mission with professional conduct.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
