Job summary

The Salvation Army Middle River Youth Center is seeking a part-time Driver to assist program leaders in planning and leading activities for center members. The role includes safely transporting youth to and from school and events, supervising passenger behavior, and reporting vehicle maintenance needs.

Responsibilities extend to program development, outreach to sustain membership, and ensuring safety and cleanliness of the facility and equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning and leading center members and activities to support program outcomes.
• Safely transports center members and staff to/from school, activities, or programs and reports vehicle maintenance and safety needs.
• Monitors safety, ensures program quality, and prepares periodic activity reports.
• Participates in outreach to grow program membership and participation.
• Safely operate transportation per state and Salvation Army rules; supervise behavior of passengers.
