Job summary

The Salvation Army Red Shield Youth Center in Sumter, SC is seeking a Youth Development Professional/Driver to support youth programs and transport youth and staff as needed. Responsibilities

Promotes and stimulates program participation.
Assists with registration and center orientation of new members.
Provides guidance and role modeling to members.
Implements and administers programs, services and activities.
Monitors programs for safety, quality, and cleanliness; prepare activity reports.
Assist outreach to increase membership and participation.
Safely transport members and staff; ensure vehicle safety and reporting.
Maintain facility and equipment; report repairs and janitorial needs.
Participate in special programs and events; uphold Salvation Army policies.
