Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED. A bachelor's degree in Youth Development, Education, Agriculture, or a related field is preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and online systems.
• Experience with clerical and computer-based administrative tasks, program coordination, and program management.
• Experience in youth development, education, program coordination, volunteer management, community outreach, event planning, or related fields is preferred.
• Experience working with youth-serving organizations, schools, camps, agricultural education programs, or volunteer-based programs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate educational programs and youth development opportunities with Extension faculty, volunteers, and partners.
• Support clubs, camps, school enrichment programs, special events, and community education opportunities.
• Assist with contests, exhibits, recognition programs, and fair activities.
• Recruit, onboard, train, recognize, and retain volunteers.
• Maintain documentation and compliance records and support outreach to communities.
