Job summary

Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Jefferson County seeks a Youth Development Educator to deliver 4-H afterschool and community programming for youth and families. The role includes coordinating educational activities, collaborating with schools and partners, and supporting grant-funded initiatives focused on leadership, workforce readiness, and financial literacy.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or Equivalent Education (Bachelor’s Degree and four years transferrable relevant evidence-based research experience).
• Experience relevant to the role.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License and ability to travel.
• Ability to work flexible hours which may include evenings and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement youth development programming in schools, community organizations, camps, and other settings.
• Deliver and coordinate educational programs including 4-H afterschool and financial literacy.
• Collaborate with schools, families, and partners; collect and report program data.
