Job summary

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment, coordinating activities with club components, supervising members, and providing weekly program evaluations. Requires CPR/First Aid training upon hire and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Attend training sessions and seminars as related to working with youth.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment for all members and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of BGCA philosophy, activities, calendars and events.
• Apply club procedures and policies; uphold policies.
• Maintain professional demeanor at all times.
• Work Mon–Fri as assigned.
• Collaborate with other club components on activities/programs.
• Supervise members during outdoor time.
• Conduct daily programs to boost participation across activities.
• Collaborate with teachers to support youth needing academic help.
• Develop and display weekly program activities.
• Assist in member discipline.
• Provide weekly program evaluations.
• Assist with cleaning designated rooms.
• Report hazards to Site Director.
• Other duties as required by supervisor.
• May work outside scheduled hours or weekends.
• May drive Club vehicles as needed.
• Document attendance, participation, incidents daily.
