Job summary

BGCTX Leaders seeks a Youth Development Professional for the MLB Club House in Texas. The role involves planning and supervising activities, preparing youth for success, and promoting program participation while maintaining safety and positive guidance for members.

Qualifications

• CPR certification or be trained within 3 months of employment.
• Experience in working with children is required.
• Knowledge of youth development concepts and practices.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems.
• Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, supervise and evaluate activities within the program area or Clubhouse.
• Prepare youth for success and promote program participation.
• Register new members and participate in club orientation.
• Provide guidance and role modeling to members and ensure safety.
• Monitor and evaluate programs for safety and quality; prepare activity reports.
