Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire is seeking a full-time staff member for the North Country Clubhouse who is enthusiastic, caring, and dedicated to the well-being of our youth. The role focuses on nurturing environments, curriculum delivery, safety, and positive guidance.

Qualifications

• Must be an associate teacher qualified before November 6, 2017 or have related coursework credits or child care experience.
• Must be 18 years or older and know current teaching methods.
• Ability to plan and implement quality programs with creative teaching strategies.
• Ability to form developmentally appropriate relationships with children.

Responsibilities

• Develops a nurturing environment and guides youth toward development outcomes.
• Plans and implements curriculum tailored to children's needs with emergent elements.
• Ensures health and safety, tracks outcomes and maintains program goals.
• Uses observations to inform curriculum and maintains accurate records.
• Oversees adherence to safety policies and licensing requirements.
• Administers medications and communicates with families as needed.
• Maintains classroom cleanliness and organization.
• Supervises staff, practicum students, and volunteers; provides feedback.
• Leads planning meetings and promotes Club programs via postings and emails.
