Job summary

Detroit Recovery Project is seeking a Youth Services Data & Performance Coordinator in Detroit, MI. The role focuses on data collection, management, reporting, and quality assurance for the Youth Services Department.

You will ensure data integrity, support grant requirements, and help drive continuous quality improvement while coordinating with leadership and program staff. Strong MS Office skills and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of two years’ data collection, management or reporting experience.
• Experience maintaining databases and producing accurate reports.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
• Typing speed 50+ wpm with high accuracy.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication and collaborative work style.
• Discretion when handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Collect, maintain, organize, and validate Youth Services data.
• Enter and maintain client and program information in databases.
• Generate recurring and ad hoc reports for leadership and funders.
• Monitor data quality, identify discrepancies, and coordinate corrections.
• Cross-reference data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy.
• Support grant reporting requirements with timely data submission.
• Develop and maintain tracking tools, spreadsheets, and dashboards.
• Monitor program outcomes and performance metrics with staff.
• Ensure HIPAA and grant compliance; protect confidentiality.
• Collaborate with managers to improve data collection and reporting.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, audits, and QA initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
