YMCA of San Diego County is seeking a Dance Instructor to build positive relationships with members and lead dance classes in a safe, effective way. You will greet participants, demonstrate moves, cue modifications, and ensure a welcoming, energetic class that supports physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing.
Required: minimum age 16, ability to obtain fingerprinting, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from recognized organizations, and the ability to lead and adapt for all fitness levels.
The Dance Instructor is responsible for building positive relationships among members, participants, volunteers and staff by actively greeting and providing excellent customer service, guidance and leadership. The Instructor creates and leads dance classes in a safe, effective, and timely manner, appropriate to the level of the participants in class, to enhance the physical, mental, and spiritual health of each student.
