YMCA of San Diego County is seeking a Dance Instructor to lead ballet and hip hop classes, greet members, and foster a welcoming workout environment. You will demonstrate safe movements, provide modifications, and maintain facility safety while engaging participants and building community.
Responsibilities include leading classes, ensuring equipment is set up and broken down on time, and upholding YMCA guidelines.
The Dance Instructor is responsible for building positive relationships among members, participants, volunteers and staff by actively greeting and providing excellent customer service, guidance and leadership. The Instructor creates and leads dance classes in a safe, effective, and timely manner, appropriate to the level of the participants in class, to enhance the physical, mental, and spiritual health of each student.
