YMCA of San Diego County is seeking a Dance Instructor to lead Ballet/Tap classes for ages 2-5, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. The role focuses on greeting members, guiding kids through age-appropriate routines, and fostering a positive community.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate proper technique, engage groups, and maintain clean class spaces. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, with all health and safety guidelines followed.
The Dance Instructor is responsible for building positive relationships among members, participants, volunteers and staff by actively greeting and providing excellent customer service, guidance and leadership. The Instructor creates and leads dance classes in a safe, effective, and timely manner, appropriate to the level of the participants in class, to enhance the physical, mental, and spiritual health of each student.
