The YMCA of Greater Brandywine is seeking program staff for Upper Main Line YMCA in Berwyn, PA. The role supports planning and delivering value-driven skill development programs aligned with YMCA goals.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities, demonstrations, classroom management, and ensuring safety. The position emphasizes enthusiastic leadership and adherence to safety and program policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate ability to develop and teach skills.
• Prior knowledge and at least 1 year of experience in program area.

Responsibilities

• Assists with specific activities, routines and/or games for all participants.
• Assists with demonstrations, classroom management, student support, and class preparation.
• Leads with enthusiasm and positive motivation in the program.
• Manages all equipment to ensure safety.
• Maintains a clean and risk‑free environment.
• Ensures all children are picked up by a parent.
• Promotes other YMCA programs by handing out brochures or referrals.
• Ensures compliance with all YGBW policies and procedures.
