Job summary

Advanced Behavioral Health in Baltimore is seeking a Youth Crisis Stabilization Therapist to provide intensive community-based services to youth and families within the DSS system to promote family preservation and stabilize placements.

You will monitor cases, document thoroughly in EMR, and collaborate with other therapists to plan discharge and follow-up care while upholding HIPAA and CARF/COMAR standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related discipline.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills are required.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and listening abilities.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with CARF/COMAR/HIPAA/State regulations.
• Maintain EMR documentation and 48-hour reporting standards.
• Provide intensive community-based treatment for up to 6 weeks.
• Collaborate with Youth Crisis Stabilization Therapists on discharge plans.
• Coordinate services and transportation as needed.
• Attend family meetings and make referrals to community providers.
• Document progress and communicate updates to the team.
