Job summary

Nexus Family Healing is seeking a Behavioral Health Practitioner for the 3rd shift to support a new youth crisis and stabilization center in Hennepin County, Minneapolis. This full-time role runs from 10:00pm to 8:30am Thursday through Sunday at 1800 Chicago Avenue, offering $22–$24 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include guiding residents per the therapeutic plan, mentoring daily activities, collaborating on treatment plans, ensuring safety, and engaging

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license required and must meet Nexus driving requirements.
• Ability to build strong relationships with diverse individuals or communities and understand their needs.
• Open to meeting cultural needs of individuals or communities.

Responsibilities

• Support and reinforce the therapeutic plan of clients and guide residents in daily living activities.
• Provide mentorship and supervision of resident daily activities and behavior.
• Collaborate with coworkers on treatment plans and therapeutic services implementation.
• Be cognizant of client phases, privileges, restrictions and adapt interactions accordingly.
• Ensure resident safety and maintain a positive, respectful, therapeutic environment.
• Work with families/support networks to reinforce positive partnerships; follow family engagement protocols.
• Plan and participate in off-campus resident activities and assist in transportation to visits and appointments.
