Job summary

The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs in Oregon are seeking a full-time Youth Programs Coordinator to develop, promote, and implement youth programs for Warm Springs students from K-12, emphasizing traditional culture, language, arts, values, conflict resolution, nature appreciation and leadership.

You will assist with youth camps and coordinate with staff for upcoming camps, with flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check required (Federal/ Tribal/ State law enforcement)
• Pre-employment alcohol and drug screening

Job Description

Develop, promote, and implement youth programs to enhance knowledge and skills; attitudes and aspirations of Warm Springs youth regarding traditional culture, language, arts, values, conflict resolution, nature appreciation and leadership for grades K-12. Assist with youth camps and coordinating with staff with/for upcoming camps.

Requirements

Office environment with expectations to assist with field camps/field work in remote locations with walking, standing, and carrying loads up to 50 lbs.Work hours are flexible and could include weekend and evening hours. Submit and pass a criminal background check with Federal, Tribal and State Law Enforcement, must also submit and pass a pre-employment alcohol and drug screening.
