Job summary

The City of South Lake Tahoe's Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a part-time Recreation Coordinator to plan, organize, and facilitate youth, adult, and community programs throughout the year.

You will coordinate programs such as Mini Mountain Movers, Sunday Craft Afternoons, and various leagues, handle scheduling, setup, teardown, and ensure a positive participant experience, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Recreation industry experience is preferred.
• Ability to create and implement recreational programs.
• Proficient with computer software such as Microsoft Office and Adobe.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate programs including Mini Mountain Movers, Sunday Craft Afternoons, Adult and Youth Leagues, Tiny Tots Sports, and additional programming.
• Handle scheduling, program development, setup and teardown, and facilitation.
• Perform administrative duties and ensure a positive participant experience.
• Available to work varied schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
