Center for Justice Innovation in Brooklyn, NY is seeking an AmeriCorps Coordinator to oversee the Red Hook Community Resilience Corps, guiding members through service, training, and community engagement.

You will manage recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing support, while coordinating with HR and partner organizations to align activities with organizational goals. This role emphasizes strong communication and program compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in youth development, workforce development and/or program implementation.
• Excellent written skills are a must.
• Candidate must be a skilled communicator able to work in a multi-disciplinary setting and maintain strong relationships with multiple agencies and organizations both onsite and in the community.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day administrative tasks related to the AmeriCorps program.
• Facilitate recruitment, enrollment, and training of AmeriCorps members.
• Provide ongoing support to members ensuring a positive experience.
• Collaborate with HR to manage personnel matters related to AmeriCorps members.
• Ensure compliance with program guidelines, policies, regulations, and audits.
• Coordinate logistics for AmeriCorps member service activities, events, and training sessions.
