Job summary

Boys & Girls Club of Manhattan is seeking an AmeriCorps Coordinator to oversee the Club's AmeriCorps program and support members throughout their term. You will serve as the primary contact for AmeriCorps members, ensuring training, resources, guidance, and a positive service experience.

You will manage day-to-day program operations, recruit and onboard members, provide supervision, coordinate site placements, and support youth development initiatives across multiple Club sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field preferred.
• Experience with youth, volunteers, AmeriCorps, or community programs preferred.
• Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and responsibilities.
• Demonstrated confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day AmeriCorps program operations.
• Ensure program requirements, policies and deadlines are followed.
• Maintain accurate records of member participation, hours, training and documentation.
• Recruit, interview and onboard AmeriCorps members.
• Provide supervision and support to members; coordinate site placements and program planning.
