Mission Graduates seeks an Internship and Work-Based Learning Manager to support Ida B. Wells High School students with career readiness and internships.

The role integrates youth development and workforce readiness, working with school staff and community partners to place students in meaningful opportunities. The position emphasizes equity and barrier removal, with on-site work at the high school and collaboration across the College to Career Department to build partnerships and track outcomes

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience working with diverse youth in community and public school settings.
• Experience in youth workforce development programming and/or serving young adults.
• Familiarity with schools and community-based organizations and barrier removal.
• BA/BS required; bilingual Spanish/English preferred; CPR certification and TB testing may be required.
• Some weekends and evenings may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver activities to prepare youth for career readiness during the school day.
• Manage and sustain internship partnerships and develop new ones.
• Place students in internships with coaching support and oversee stipends.
• Collaborate with school staff and community partners to remove barriers to success.
• Maintain program records using Salesforce, Google Docs, Excel and Word.
• Present opportunities to advisories and staff PDs and create marketing materials as needed.
