Job summary

Mission Graduates is seeking an Internship and Work-Based Learning Manager to guide high school students at Ida B. Wells High School.

This role prioritizes career readiness, internship placement, and equitable access to opportunities, aligning with our mission to prepare youth for postsecondary pathways. You will build and sustain partnerships with schools and community partners, manage stipends, and track outcomes to support program impact and grants reporting.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience working with diverse youth in community and public school settings.
• Experience in youth workforce development and employment/education services.
• Experience building partnerships for job readiness training and barrier removal.
• Familiarity with schools and community-based organizations.
• Bilingual Spanish/English required.
• BA or BS required.
• CPR certification and TB test clearance before hire.
• Some weekends and evenings required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver activities for career readiness during the school day.
• Manage existing internship partnerships and develop new ones.
• Place students in internship sites with training and coaching support.
• Oversee stipend payments and data collection for grants.
• Collaborate with school staff and community partners to support students.
• Track program outcomes with surveys.
