Job summary

Police Athletic League seeks a Career Coach to support Youth Employment programs, guiding teens toward workforce readiness and educational goals. The role requires coordinating activities at PAL Centers, engaging directly with youth, and traveling with groups as needed.

The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, and able to build strong relationships with adolescents, families, and local partners while maintaining accurate records and participating in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Education/Social Work/Human Services or related field.
• Experience with adolescents/youth development preferred.
• Experience facilitating workshops or trainings preferred.
• Experience with youth employment/workforce development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement Youth Employment programming at PAL Centers or in a borough.
• Provide direct service, outreach, mentoring, coaching, and individualized guidance.
• Support recruitment, orientation, registration, and onboarding of participants.
• Facilitate career readiness workshops and job readiness activities.
• Maintain participant records and program data.
• Collaborate with PAL departments to execute programs and events.
