Job summary

Abraxas Youth and Family Services in Marienville, PA, seeks dedicated professionals for direct supervision and leadership of clients in a therapeutic setting. You will implement daily activity schedules, coordinate Family Night and recreation, and document psycho-educational groups to support client growth.

The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and a strong service focus to help individuals achieve independence and success while upholding dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must possess a valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening.
• Must pass federal and state background checks including crimes such as drug-related, violent, sexual abuse, domestic violence, child abuse, and misdemeanors.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and leadership to clients, serving as a role model in a therapeutic and meaningful manner.
• Coordinate and implement daily activity schedules and structure; organize family nights and recreation activities.
• Facilitate and document psycho-educational groups using standardized curricula; conduct head counts to ensure safety.

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct supervision, leadership, and serve as a role model to clients while interacting in a therapeutic and meaningful manner.
• Implement the daily activity schedule and structure and coordinate client activities, such as Family Night, Structured Recreation, etc.
• Facilitate and document various psycho-educational groups via standardized curricula. Conduct scheduled and random head counts to provide effective people security.
