Job summary

Hoyleton in Belleville, IL seeks a Youth Care Worker to implement daily therapeutic programming for youth under supervision. You will engage youth in skill-building activities, document interactions per the CARE and TCI models, and help maintain a safe, positive environment.

This role requires CARE and TCI training with ongoing certification and a passion for youth development. The position emphasizes relational care, crisis de-escalation, and collaboration with supervisors to plan activities

Qualifications

• Ability to learn CARE practice model and implement daily programming.
• Ability to learn TCI curriculum and pass tests with fidelity.
• Enjoy actively engaging youth with empathy and patience.

Responsibilities

• Engage youth in daily therapeutic activities to develop social and life skills.
• Maintain safety by applying TCI de-escalation techniques and crisis planning.
• Document interactions promptly per life skills plan and CARE/TCI standards.
• Participate in supervision, staffing, and program planning with supervisor.
• Complete required CARE and TCI trainings and certifications.
