Job summary

Hoyleton Youth and Family Services in Fairview Heights, IL seeks a Behavioral Health Specialist to provide community-based mental health support for children and adults with complex needs. You will conduct outreach, assessments, and collaborative care with a recovery-focused approach, following Medicaid Rule 132 and Rule 140.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, document activities for billing, attend trainings, and engage families to support clients’ goals; TCI certification is

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; preferred 2+ years in human services.
• Driver’s license and auto insurance required.
• DCFS/CANTS clearance required.
• Experience with trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to at-risk individuals to connect with services.
• Complete trauma-informed assessments to inform treatment.
• Help clients develop adaptive functioning to stay in the community.
• Engage families and supporters to reach client goals; provide advocacy.
• Collaborate with team; participate in clinical staffing.
• Coordinate with Clinical Supervisor to identify activities.
• Document case activities and billing per Medicaid rules.
• Attend trainings and participate in community events.
• Perform TCI and crisis prevention per guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
