Job summary

Mount Hermon Association, Inc. seeks Day Camp Counselors who model a Christian lifestyle and safeguard campers while inviting them into discipleship through crafts, games, and Bible-centered activities.

You will supervise outdoor and indoor activities, lead groups, keep spaces clean, and collaborate with leadership to reflect Mount Hermon's mission. CPR/First Aid certification and at least a high school diploma are required; some college is preferred; must be 18+ and able to work on-site.

Qualifications

• Must be CPR/First Aid certified prior to camp.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Experience with children is preferred.
• Ability to articulate the Gospel clearly from Scripture.
• Must be 18+ years old and able to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Model a Christian lifestyle and nurture campers' safety and well-being.
• Lead and assist in crafts, games, music, drama and curriculum as directed.
• Supervise campers and provide guidance and support throughout activities.
• Create a warm, welcoming environment for all campers.
• Assist with keeping camp spaces and supplies clean and organized.
• Participate in additional duties with other departments as assigned.
