Job summary

Mount Hermon Association Incorporated’s Kidder Creek Day Camp seeks counselors to model a Christ-centered life, nurture campers, and lead Bible study groups with junior counselors. You will supervise 15–20 campers weekly, guide outdoor activities, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment in a fast-paced setting.

Experience in camp counseling is preferred; CPR/First Aid and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year college experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Current valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Prior camp counseling experience preferred.
• Experience with elementary through high school students.
• Ability to articulate the gospel of Jesus Christ from Scripture.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Jr Counselors overseeing 15–20 campers weekly.
• Lead small group Bible studies for junior counselors.
• Oversee adventure, recreation and guiding activities with enthusiasm.
• Ensure camper safety at all times.
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to camp operations.
• Housekeeping and kitchen duties as assigned.
• Support the broader program and be flexible with assignments.
