Job summary

Mount Hermon Association Incorporated seeks a Staff Counselor to support the emotional, personal, and spiritual well‑being of Summer Staff. The role includes overseeing dorm life, discipleship meetings, and community building in a faith‑centered camp setting.

The position requires ministerial alignment, leadership experience with college‑age individuals, CPR/First Aid certification, and a valid driver’s license. This is a full‑time, on‑site ministry role at the conference center.

Qualifications

• Must possess leadership and spiritual maturity.
• Ability to articulate the gospel in Scripture.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Current valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dorm life and facilitate weekly spiritual development meetings.
• Meet each summer staff member on your floor twice for discipleship sessions.
• Coordinate with Chief of Staff to build community and check in staff.
• Supervise custodial support for dorms to ensure clean living.
• Assist departments and support Summer Staff in roles.
• Set up Carnival, Zumba, S’mores and Mall Party events as directed.
