Job summary

YMCA of South Palm Beach County in Boca Raton, FL seeks a part-time Bus Driver to transport children and teens to YMCA programs. You will ensure safe, timely trips and follow all safety policies while interacting in a positive manner with passengers.

Duties include pre-trip inspections, maintaining logs, keeping the bus clean, and reporting incidents to supervision. Requirements: 21+, clean driving record, CPR and First Aid within 30 days, and availability Monday–Friday 1:30pm–5:00pm; weekend

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age required.
• Clean driving record as per MVR check.
• CPR & First Aid certifications required within 30 days of hire.
• Comfortable engaging with children and teens.
• Ability to navigate and maintain control in noisy environments.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children and teens to YMCA programs, field trips, and activities.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure bus is in safe operating condition.
• Maintain transportation logs and ensure proper bus cleanliness after shifts.
• Adhere to safety policies, traffic laws, and passenger safety protocols.
• Report incidents or malfunctions to supervisor promptly.
