Job summary

Boys- is seeking a part-time Bus Driver to safely transport youth between schools and activities in Lacoochee, FL. The role requires a clean driving record, a 21+ age minimum, and CPR/First Aid/AED certification, plus a DOT Medical Card.

You will maintain safety, conduct daily checks, and report issues promptly while following trip procedures and preparing required reports. The position emphasizes reliability and community service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Impeccable driving record required for insurance.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to drive a van/bus safely and efficiently.
• Experience working with children required.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certifications mandatory.
• Maintain a valid DOT Medical Card.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports Club members between schools, clubs, and events.
• Maintains discipline on the van/bus to ensure safety.
• Complete daily pre/post inspection forms at start and end of day.
• Notify supervisor of maintenance or safety issues immediately.
• Complete and maintain Daily Attendance Checklist for riders.
• Follow vehicle emergency procedures.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report needs.
• Verify all members are accounted for on trips.
• Prepare reports as needed.
• Report driving violations to supervisor and HR.
• Maintain current seating charts monthly.
• Participate in weekly staff meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
