Job summary

The Village Network in North Canton, OH is seeking a Behavioral Management Specialist for school-based and outpatient settings. This full-time role supports youth and families with direct care and clinical activities aligned to our mission and values.

Responsibilities include behavior management, collaboration with school staff, crisis intervention, and contributing to treatment plans. Valid driver’s license and travel to multiple sites are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field or 3+ years of experience in a related role.
• Ability to work with a diverse population.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License and driving record acceptable for insurability.

Responsibilities

• Provides behavior management and support toward treatment goals.
• Teaches appropriate skills and behaviors.
• Uses the 6 R’s strategies with clients.
• Utilizes Collaborative Problem Solving.
• Provides individual and/or group mental health services per the child service plan.
