Job summary

The Village Network in Canton, OH is seeking a Behavioral Management Specialist - School Based/Outpatient to provide direct care and clinical support aligned with our mission. You will support treatment goals, model appropriate skills, and apply trauma-informed approaches to youth and families.

This role includes collaboration with schools and families, travel to client homes as needed, and documentation of services.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field or 3+ years of experience in a related role.
• Ability to work with a diverse population.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Provides behavior management and supports client’s treatment goals.
• Teaches appropriate skills and behaviors, models positive behavior.
• Utilizes the 6 R’s strategies and Collaborative Problem Solving when working with clients.
• Provides individual and/or group mental health services per the client service plan.
• Maintains clinical documentation of services rendered.
• Participates in staff and treatment team meetings to collaborate with the treatment team.
• Supervises all clients during assigned shifts and engages with families and school staff.
• Supports education through tutoring and emotional support.
