Job summary

Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for a part-time, hourly role in the United States. The BHT provides intensive, individualized mental health interventions for children and adolescents in home, school, and community settings, under supervision.

The position emphasizes flexible hours, evenings and weekends, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary treatment team to implement treatment goals and support youth in the least restrictive setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and ability to complete 40+ hours of training.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health services.
• Behavioral Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification.
• Certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT).
• Proficient computer skills; EHR experience a plus.
• Strong communication skills; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive, individualized mental health interventions and support in diverse settings.
• Work under supervision of a Qualified Mental Health Professional and participate on an interdisciplinary team.
• Implement specified treatment goals to help children/adolescents function in the least restrictive setting.
• Deliver services in home, school, and community settings (camp, daycare, etc.).
