Job summary

Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to deliver intensive behavioral health interventions for children and adolescents in home, school, and community settings. The BHT works under a Qualified Mental Health Professional and participates on an interdisciplinary team to implement treatment goals.

The role offers up to 40 hours weekly with flexible evenings and weekends. A $20.00 hourly rate is stated, and RBT or related certifications are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and ability to complete 40+ hours of training.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing behavioral health services.
• Behavioral Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from an accredited organization.
• Certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT).
• RBT 40 hour training course will be required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; EHR experience is a plus.
• CPR/FA Certification is a plus.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
• Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive, individualized behavioral health interventions and support services to children/adolescents with psychiatric diagnoses and their families.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team under supervision of a Qualified Mental Health Professional.
• Implement treatment goals and sound clinical interventions to enable behavior and functioning in the least restrictive setting.
