Job summary

Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to deliver intensive, individualized behavioral health interventions across home, school, and community settings for children and families.

The BHT works under a Qualified Mental Health Professional, part of an interdisciplinary team, aiming to support clients to function at their best in the least restrictive environment. The position offers a part-time, non-exempt status with a flexible schedule and up to 40 hours;

Qualifications

• Must meet one of the following requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent and 40+ hours of training completed, or
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing behavioral health services, or
• Behavioral Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from an accredited organization, or
• Certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Experience using an EHR system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide intense, individualized behavioral health interventions and support to children/adolescents with psychiatric diagnoses.
• Work under supervision of a Qualified Mental Health Professional as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Implement specific treatment goals and sound clinical interventions to help clients function in the least restrictive setting.
