Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is urgently hiring a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to deliver intense, individualized mental health interventions for children and adolescents across home, school, and community settings.

The BHT works under the supervision of a Qualified Mental Health Professional within an interdisciplinary team, implementing targeted treatment goals. The position offers a flexible schedule with up to 40 hours weekly and a sign-on bonus; bilingual Spanish skills are a plus,

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and complete 40+ hours of training
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing behavioral health services
• Behavioral Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification
• Certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT)
• Previous youth/adolescent care experience required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft 365; experience with EHR is a plus
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance
• Bilingual Spanish speaking is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive, individualized mental health interventions in home, school, and community settings to children/adolescents and their families
• Work under supervision of a Qualified Mental Health Professional as part of an interdisciplinary team and implement treatment goals
• Deliver interventions and supportive services to help youths function in the least restrictive setting
