Job summary

Bellefaire JCB seeks a Behavioral Health (BH) Respite Care Provider to supervise and support children and teens with diverse needs. You will create a safe, engaging environment and accompany participants in respite activities, promoting positive behavior and well-being.

Requirements include a high school diploma (an associate or bachelor’s in psychology or related field preferred) and experience with youth. A valid driver’s license is preferred; equal opportunity employer).

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; associate/bachelor’s in psychology or related field preferred.
• Licensure not required.
• Experience working with children, adolescents and families is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide a structured environment for youth during respite activities.
• Encourage participation and supervise safety in programs.
• Transport clients to and from activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all attendees.
• Communicate with participants, families and staff clearly.
