Mary’s Place is seeking a Behavioral Health Coordinator to support youth and families experiencing homelessness with behavioral health services, referrals, and education. The role includes supervising MSW/counseling interns and leading equity-centered initiatives across sites in King County, including Downtown Seattle and Burien.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, with some weekends/evenings. Salary ranges from $40 to $45 per hour, DOE, and requires flexibility to travel between sites.

Qualifikationen

• Trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and harm reduction principles are required in practice.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in another language is preferred (Spanish, Portuguese, Lingala, French, Tigrinya).

Aufgaben

• Direct Behavioral Health Support (50%): triaged behavioral health, referrals, education, safety planning and warm handoffs.
• Host regular office hours at Mary’s Place sites; coach shelter staff and guests.
• Apply trauma-informed care and equity principles in all interactions; ensure client-led services.
• Maintain records and monitor health-related goals for youth and families.
• Behavioral Health Consultation (30%): provide consultation to Behavioral Health Specialists and staff; coordinate care.
• Develop community partnerships; maintain up-to-date resource lists focused on BIPOC-led organizations.
• Create trainings for staff on trauma, crisis response, and culturally relevant programming.
• Coordinate internship program; recruit, onboard, and supervise MSW/counseling interns.
