Job summary

The Jr. Celtics Academy, official youth basketball platform of the Boston Celtics, seeks a Sr. Coordinator to help deliver high-quality basketball programming and community engagement across New England.

Reporting to the Sr. Director, you will plan leagues, camps, clinics, events, and partnerships, serving as a Celtics ambassador while ensuring inclusive, positive experiences for players and families. This full-time role requires a bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years in youth development or sports

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
1–3 years of experience in youth development, basketball coaching, or sports programming.
Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel regionally.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, execution, and management of at least one Jr. Celtics Academy program.
Develop expertise in the JCA Analytics Dashboard for program evaluation.
Execute grassroots marketing and manage the JCA Kids Zone at TD Garden.
Support the development and execution of JCA Theme Nights and in-arena fan engagement.
Coordinate with Celtics Operations Team on technical and operational aspects of JCA programming.
Serve as primary contact for customer service across all JCA platforms.
